Solar-powered gate motor KIT
Solar–powered automatic gate kits are built locally in Darwin to suit your requirements. We use –Upgraded batteries – eah solar sliding gate motor comes with batteries that are upgraded to a higher rating suitable to NT conditions with a 1 year warranty. (though frequently we hear of people getting 2 years out of the batteries. upgraded solar panels and build each kit locally in Darwin.)
Upgraded Solar Panel – Each solar gate motor we install comes with a high output solar panel with a 3 year manufacturers warranty. The panel has a custom made frame to suit which is fabricated and powdercoated locally using Australian steel.
Motor – with 2 years manufacturers warranty. We have either a 500kg option in stock or a 800kg option in stock.
Rack/track/Consumables as required supplied per job. Because we are electricians all our cabling is installed in a tradesmanlike manner with everything hidden neatly where possible inside cableways, posts and conduit. No bare cables for dogs or birds to chew or the sun to deteriorate.
Solar gate openers

Sliding and swing gate kits
Dunwrights deals with both types of gate openers – sliding kits, and swing gate opener kits. Sliding kits are installed parallel to the main wall, thus they consume the minimum space, and only require a single gate. However more infrastructure is required to install. Swing gate kits open inwards from your street and need more space.
