Slow gate? Here’s why.
Many BFT solar setups use two control boards.
The top board charges the batteries and receives the remote signal. It then wakes the main board below, which opens the gate.
That relay makes them slower to respond than simpler systems.
As they age, the link between the boards can drop out. You end up at the gate, pressing the remote again and again.

Common BFT faults we repair
Slow or unresponsive solar gates. We check both boards and the connection between them, and improve signal with antennas where needed.
Lost remote signal. We re-code remotes, replace receivers, or fit a new receiver and remote set.
Motor undersized for the gate. Some lighter-rated BFT models end up on heavy gates. They run well for a while, then wear out. We’ll tell you if yours is working too hard.
Battery failures. Darwin heat is hard on standard batteries. We test and replace them, with lithium upgrades where it suits.
